About RTA Inspections

We do:

  1. Pink Slip (rego check) for petrol and LPG.
  2. Blue Slip (re-registeration or Defect Notice Clearance) or petrol and LPG.

Many accidents and injuries could have been avoided if the car is safe to drive.  We take this very seriously and give you a proper and honest inspection report based on the RTA rules.

 Please keep in mind that the objectives of the inspections are as stated by the RTA rule 100;

To check that the vehicle is free from apparent safety defects which would affect its use on a road.

To ensure that the level of occupant protection provided by the manufacturer is maintained.

To validate the vehicle identification details for registration records.

The safety check is not meant to be a guarantee, or a thorough assessment of the mechanical quality of a vehicle.

RTA rule 12.06; The fee is payable in advance by the motorist.
